DISCUSSIONS about ORAL HEALTH

Ever wonder why people will go to every extreme to enhance their appearance, yet do little to enhance their smile or breath? I often wonder the same as I watch the same people stop in next door to have their hair and nails, week after week. Once or twice a year those same people may stop in to have their teeth cleaned, maybe. Actually odds are pretty good that although they can find the money to do their hair and nails weekly, they'll have some objection to stopping by the dentists. Many people often cite finances, others may say they don't have time. If this were really true then the beauty salon would be empty. The reality is that for far too many years going to the Dentist has been an unpleasant experience whose benefits aren't readily know. By encouraging some discussion on the topic I hope people will realize that going to the Dentist is a part of being good to yourself. Sure, there'll be some bad experiences ... just like there have been bad perms and horrific dye jobs. But what is important, is that once you find a good Dentist you'll be happy that you are taking care of your health and that others will like you more for that beautiful smile and pleasant breath.
